A proud legacy of accelerating
the adoption of technology.

For 50 years, Legacy has enabled the important transitions of our world by accelerating the adoption of proven technological innovations that improve our lives. From the clean rooms that enabled silicone chip production, to the telecommunication installation services that connected industries and consumers to the internet, Legacy has enabled the most important technological transformations of the last century. While our capabilities have evolved over the years, our commitment to advancing world-changing technologies has remained steadfast. During the recent purchase and reorganization of Clean Royalties, Legacy was under a rebrand, reinforcing our commitment to innovation and renewal.

Today, we believe that clean renewable solar energy is the most important investment we can make. We are driven to use our expertise to accelerate the transition from dirty to clean energy, carrying forward our legacy of enabling transformational progress for a better, sustainable future.

Leadership Team

Frederick “Kip” Myrick has been instrumental in building Legacy Power into a powerhouse within the U.S. commercial solar sector. Kip’s journey started at the Peck Electric Company in 1988 as a Journeyman Electrician. His expertise quickly elevated him through the ranks—becoming a Foreman in 1993, where he managed industrial projects for IBM, and later taking on roles as General Foreman and Superintendent. By 2005, Kip advanced to Project Manager, and his contributions and leadership led him to become a major shareholder and Vice President in 2006.

In 2008, Kip proposed a strategic pivot toward solar energy, recognizing its commercial potential. He led the charge by founding the Peck Solar division, which has thrived under his guidance. Kip is a Vermont and Maine Master Electrician (License Nos. EM-3726 & MS60021787) and a NABCEP-certified PV Installation Professional (Cert.# 110112-100). Known for his love of the outdoors, Kip lives with his family in Essex, Vermont, alongside his pointer, Summer, a well-loved Legacy office presence.

Kyle began his career in construction in 2013, specializing in Operations Management and Commercial Development. In 2020, he transitioned to the Solar and EV Charging market by joining The Peck Company. Since joining, he has contributed to several sectors, including Safety, Operations and Maintenance, and Project Management. In 2024, he advanced to become the Director of Industrial Operations.

Kent has a solid foundation in solar energy, starting with hands-on installation in 2013 for roof mounts, ground mounts, and battery backup systems for both grid-tied and off-grid applications. Transitioning to Construction Management in 2018, he successfully managed 47MW of installations across ME, NH, NY, VT, and MA. In 2023, Kent brought his decade of expertise to iSun as an Estimator, providing valuable insight from his experience on both sides of the solar installation process.

Doug is a skilled professional with over 20 years of experience in electrical systems, including 11 years as a Master Electrician. He has worked on industrial automation systems at Energizer Battery Holdings and has extensive project management experience as a General Foreman. Doug’s work includes installing building automation systems and automation controls at multiple UVM buildings, including research greenhouses. He also managed the electrical system installations at VTANG’s F35 Simulator Projects, the F35 Bed Down Hangar, and the Fueling Depot.
